First of all, I want to clarify that a blog is nothing more than a web page.
Previously, web pages were mainly built in html code and you can say they were flat. you had to create a page with your content, manually include the title, tags and metatags, upload it to the server and manually modify the sitemap so that the page was off indexed. And of course the indexing time was quite long.
After blogs were born, which were originally supposed to be “electronic journals”, you know … today I got up at 5:30 am as usual, this happened to me, and this and this … people commented on their daily life in them , or personal details.
The interesting thing was that the strongest platform that is WordPress and thanks to many altruistic developers (because they do it non-profit) were creating many ways to improve these blogs and over time they became much more dynamic websites.
Why did I tell you this story?, Because even in the minds of many people the word “blog” do not end up associating it with a functional website that covers the same functions as one in html flat. Even a sense of contempt for the term is felt.
In fact, now this platform is the best way to generate money on the internet, a powerful weapon, that many people still can not understand.
I have said many times that there is no bad niche, you can create a blog of almost any topic and you will have readers.
Whether you’re fond of the paranormal, fashions, electronic gadgets, UFOs, gardening, cooking … anyway, whatever, you can make money with your blog.
So, here are 10 ways you can make money with your blog in the niche:
1.- Adsense. Or any other type of contextual advertising. Of course I like adsense more than other similar advertising because it pays better per click. If you do not know how adsense works I will write a series of articles here in the not too distant future
2.- Sale of advertising space. It is almost the same as above, but in this case ,they are companies or people who pay you mainly for a banner on your site. You yourself note the fee and they are charged per month, per week or by impressions of the same, that decision is left for you to take.
3.- Payment by Post . Or you get paid for some item. If you have a very well positioned site with a lot of readers, then you can sell review articles to other webmasters.
For example, you have a site that specializes in gardening, and a person who has a site about roses wants to generate more traffic from your site, so he can pay for it you do a review of his site and publish it on yours.
This is very common, you earn very good money, and they gain credibility, incoming links and of course traffic.
4.- Autoblogs. This topic is about a few weeks ago and you can read about it here: How to Make Money with Autoblogs
There are people who create networks of autoblogs, and each of them are monetized with different methods, thus creating a stable and even growing income.
5.- Sale of Text Links. There are companies and people who pay you to create text links from your site to theirs.
Companies regularly have programs that are responsible for generating links that sell automatically without you having to move a finger, while if you make the manual sale you will be the one who creates those text links manually, charge them and remove them when they cancel the link.
6.- Networking Blogs. There are blog networks, which you can join and get paid for writing and posting content on blogs.
You can pay for each post, or for each time your article is seen, this already depends on how the network works.
7.- Affiliate Programs . There are blogs that are only dedicated to promoting affiliate programs, or to selling products through affiliate programs.
This can be done practically on any content blog.
8.- Email Marketing. Any blogger should build a list of emails from people who enter your website, this is something completely basic.
If you have a large list of subscribers, and write bulletins or newsletters periodically, you can sell advertising space in this newsletter.
There are people who make a lot of money doing this! The blog serves to create the list, and position you as an authority in that niche.
9.- Teach! Yes, this lends itself a lot to your readers, if they really are fond of the subject, they ask for sessions of coaching, or private lessons. For example, if you have a blog about gardening, you can create a course on “evergreen grass” that is the dream of any gardener.
10.- Private Sections . Imagine, you are fond of the paranormal and you have the largest collection of ghost photographs. You can create a private section of your blog on which samples!
Here I am only putting 10 forms, you can find others, you can combine them, or whatever you want, the important thing is that you get down to work, and that you understand, your hobby can make you earn money.
